Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Kinic having to interfere. Frits Nabe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damazy Kinic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frits Nabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Vyacheslav Konopatov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Vyacheslav Konopatov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XENEIXES FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 36th minute, Cristobal Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes XENEIXES FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Fertus. Camilo Gisbert made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by XENEIXES FC's Elvio Guillerme. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damazy Kinic narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vyacheslav Konopatov was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Damazy Kinic made a huge save. Cristian Sancho in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damazy Kinic, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mariano Tabb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alin Pârvan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Damazy Kinic in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Damazy Kinic quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Frits Nabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frits Nabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Nabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. XENEIXES FC made a substitution. Denis Chano replaced Alin Pârvan. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frits Nabe was slow to take the kick. During this time XENEIXES FC's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frits Nabe's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. XENEIXES FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
