Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eilert Totland went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hans-Martin Torvund struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rock Hard FC. Kenneth Drange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Rock Hard FC's Sigve Ramberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Rock Hard FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Drange came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Drange narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot by Tage Øye from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Andreas Husebø fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rock Hard FC's protests and gave Andreas Husebø a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rock Hard FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Andreas Husebø hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Drange read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Kenneth Drange made a huge save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kenneth Drange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eilert Totland in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Kenneth Drange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth Drange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Martin Torvund, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Hans-Martin Torvund took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Kenneth Drange successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Haavik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Sigve Ramberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rock Hard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim-André Kirkevold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Rock Hard FC were the better team. Rock Hard FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
