Aureliusz Mietus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Aureliusz Mietus came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post. The Galaxy Team U18 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
