Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when George Bodenheimer kicked off to start the match. Curacao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Stanway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Joseph Guttenbrunn to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bodo Jentzsch in the 44th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Davies stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 62 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Bodenheimer. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Bodenheimer in the 63rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gottfried Ludwick kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the last second Bruno Barrett throw himself and got hold of the ball when George Bodenheimer in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 67 minutes into the game, Pierre-Joseph Guttenbrunn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Bodenheimer in the 71st minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fred Bruckmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Bodenheimer during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Curacao made a substitution. Kane Butler replaced Charles Cox. Stanway's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
