An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob May in the 8th minute of play forced Segelbut IF U21's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Zhuang Jian Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alf Ekelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Munio came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Alf Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alf Ekelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alf Ekelund to strike the kick off in the second half. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Luncaniță having to interfere. Zhuang Jian Yi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Ekelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornel Luncaniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Edward Mcdonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segelbut IF U21's Cornel Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 72nd minute of play. Gustav Hedlund charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustav Hedlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. USA's Sam Campbell got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Munio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Younis Abo Al Hasan during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Segelbut IF U21 got a freekick which was hit by Younis Abo Al Hasan. Cornel Luncaniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Cornel Luncaniță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Segelbut IF U21 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though USA had controlled the match.
