Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Kıraç Uskan came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Villaverde Celeste Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kıraç Uskan couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Makaay. In the 8th minute, Tang Qian Xiong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Roy Makaay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Makaay in the 17th minute of play. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tang Qian Xiong in the 19 minute of the game. The throw-in from Guo Ao in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 22 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nenko Reza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Makaay, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. 36 minutes into the match, Roy Makaay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roy Makaay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roy Makaay was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when William Lucas came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Alonso Berganza with Luz Tejedor as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nenko Reza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Armandinho Xavier was substituted for Guo Ao. In the 79th minute Kıraç Uskan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Makaay in the 82nd minute of play. Kıraç Uskan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. In the 84th minute, Kıraç Uskan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nenko Reza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Rafael Gallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nenko Reza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.
