Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Codrin Barbăneagră made a huge save. Codrin Barbăneagră stood somewhat misplaced when Mariano Lacasa came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 45 minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Creangă was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bogdan Sârban got free with Thiago Pliego in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Sârban, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ion Văcărescu made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Xavier Figueroa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Creangă in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Creangă's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codrin Barbăneagră. AC Milan Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Codrin Barbăneagră showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Cristian Creangă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Creangă came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Barbăneagră took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Codrin Barbăneagră tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Barbăneagră saved AC Milan Tigers from getting behind. After 85 minutes AC Milan Tigers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Codrin Barbăneagră showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 96th minute. Costin Ciorobîtcă's shot from long distance in the 96th minute was not bad at all, but Chile's Thiago Pliego knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post.
