The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boleslaw Zielinski made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
