Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alf Björk started the match with the kick off. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alf Björk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Björk in the 6th minute of play. Alf Björk hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Angel-Enrique Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Markus Berg went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Angel-Enrique Comizzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Markus Berg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blue Angels's Angel-Enrique Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Patrik Skark sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Björk in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Berg came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Angels's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel-Enrique Comizzo came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Skark in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Markus Berg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Alf Björk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Skark in the 70th minute of play. Blue Angels were furious when Thomas Rogne was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 72 minutes into the game, one of Blue Angels:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Angel-Enrique Comizzo had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo. Blue Angels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Blue Angels's Robin Söder was substituted for Oscar Lindström. In the 83rd minute, Luca Zorita fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Angel-Enrique Comizzo, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Mexico booed when Blue Angels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Bangsbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blue Angels's Marcus Berg was substituted for Markus Berg. In the 93rd minute, Johan Bangsbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Luque during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 97 minutes into the game, Marcus Berg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Blue Angels.
