Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alf Björk started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Oscar Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 8th minute of the match. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Blue Angels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angel-Enrique Comizzo quite easily take care of the ball. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute of play. Patrik Skark's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Dante Lacasa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Markus Berg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match Blue Angels got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aleksandar Ivanov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Blue Angels's Markus Berg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thomas Rogne kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Din Boll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 57th minute, Markus Berg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blue Angels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angel-Enrique Comizzo. That made the score 2-1 after 60 minutes of play. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Angel-Enrique Comizzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Patrik Skark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Skark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Rogne's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Rogne helped the player get up and apologised. Blue Angels's Robin Söder was substituted for Oscar Lindström. Thomas Rogne hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute of play forced Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
