Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Juventus Football Club's Douglas Luis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Juventus Football Club getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Roman Furgal hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Juventus Football Club's Michele Di Gregorio didn't even have to move. Michele Di Gregorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of the match. Erik Janžovnik kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michele Di Gregorio. Juventus Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Michele Di Gregorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Michele Di Gregorio came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 22nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michele Di Gregorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michele Di Gregorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Luis in the 30th minute of play. When Mexico's Joel Gaona in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juventus Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. Michele Di Gregorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes Juventus Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes, Juventus Football Club's Kryspin Skirzynski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventus Football Club reached it. With an all-out effort, Juventus Football Club's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Grzegorz Praski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Kensicki in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michele Di Gregorio. That made the score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tanek Wisniewski during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Juventus Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Wisniewski. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Lautaro Mancebo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Michele Di Gregorio made a huge save. Juventus Football Club's Michele Di Gregorio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Football Club from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Michele Di Gregorio in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michele Di Gregorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 67th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michele Di Gregorio having to interfere. Mexico's Luca Zorita suffered a sore thigh after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mexico's Xavier Seco was substituted for Luca Zorita. Boleslaw Lipinski kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Michele Di Gregorio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 78 minutes into the match, Juventus Football Club's goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Michele Di Gregorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 84th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michele Di Gregorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus Football Club's goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tanek Wisniewski kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
