Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Agustín Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Bruno Capello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Trip's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Bruno Capello took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. 31 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Capello in the 34th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Capello to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Cipriano Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Trip fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 58 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agustín Rossi. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Capello, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Capello in the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Edelmiro Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Los Trip made a substitution. Flavio Marchegiani replaced Manuel Santxol. In the 81st minute, Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Trip were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peru for a fine match.
