Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ander Salan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ander Salan. Ander Salan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Aya Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ander Salan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 35th minute, Epicuro Uria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ander Salan. Ander Salan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 46 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ander Salan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Naldo Rallo to make the kick off. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ander Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Aston Birra's Aya Montes got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ander Salan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 64th minute. Aston Birra's Ander Salan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Aston Birra from getting a goal against them. Ander Salan made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Ander Salan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Epicuro Uria came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Aston Birra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epicuro Uria couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Luis Andino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ander Salan, 0-7. Ander Salan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ander Salan in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aston Birra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. When Naldo Rallo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Aston Birra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naldo Rallo couldn't finish the play. Juan Sebastián Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 96th minute of play forced Aston Birra's goalkeeper Ander Salan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aston Birra throughout the match.
