The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cayo Mario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayo Mario, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Thom Threepwood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 7th minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thom Threepwood having to interfere. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Radiohead Freaks Club's Cayo Mario. But to his dismay, Cayo Mario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Radiohead Freaks Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cayo Mario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayo Mario in the 23rd minute of the match. Thom Threepwood was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beti Roman in the 29th minute of play. Noe Seedorf made a great header on Radiohead Freaks Club's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. 34 minutes into the game, Cayo Mario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Radiohead Freaks Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Cayo Mario kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Thom Threepwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thom Threepwood stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Zorita's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Radiohead Freaks Club booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Lautaro Mancebo sped through Radiohead Freaks Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thom Threepwood. In the 59th minute, Cayo Mario made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After some careless play in the Radiohead Freaks Club defense, Facundo Cadaval kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thom Threepwood. The Radiohead Freaks Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thom Threepwood should have stopped the shot. Cayo Mario struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Radiohead Freaks Club. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thom Threepwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Radiohead Freaks Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cayo Mario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Radiohead Freaks Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayo Mario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayo Mario in the 95th minute of the match. Mexico's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
