Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Bryk in the 5th minute of the match. Wojtek Sokol kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Klement Bryk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ajax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play forced Ajax's goalkeeper Gigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tonton Eren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ajax's Tonton Eren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigi Buffon having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Bryk in the 27th minute of play. Tonton Eren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 31st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. After 38 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Klement Bryk who took care of the corner kick. Klement Bryk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Wojtek Sokol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.

The wind increased when Klement Bryk made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ajax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Palladino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gigi Buffon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gigi Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 69th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Klement Bryk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ajax's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Bryk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wojtek Sokol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gigi Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ajax:s goal. Julio Vera had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Tonton Eren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 77th minute, Tonton Eren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ajax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 83 minutes into the match, Ajax's goalkeeper Gigi Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Bryk in the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Wojtek Sokol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wojtek Sokol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Ajax made a substitution. Jacek Kieca replaced Wojtek Sokol. In the 98th minute, Remigiusz Galaska made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
