Cornel Luncaniță made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Alf Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Marcelo Munio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Marcelo Munio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Segelbut IF U21 were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alf Ekelund was the one to do the kick off. Segelbut IF U21's Cornel Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Garrido in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF U21's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Cornel Luncaniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Joshua Garrido hit a great ball. Segelbut IF U21 made a substitution. Alfons Öberg replaced Alf Ekelund. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Joshua Garrido got a free kick in the 67th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Munio in the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Segelbut IF U21's Anton Rudqvist got a free kick in the 71st minute. 71 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF U21's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Cornel Luncaniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Munio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Cornel Luncaniță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoffer Josefsson hit a great ball. Kevin Mastache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cornel Luncaniță. Segelbut IF U21's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Abram Secada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornel Luncaniță. Segelbut IF U21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Secada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
