Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Blue Angels's Alf Björk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel-Enrique Comizzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Hassan Yusuf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Patrik Skark sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Patrik Skark tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angel-Enrique Comizzo. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Aleksandar Ivanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Blue Angels were awarded a corner. Aleksandar Ivanov went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 65 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Berg in the 71st minute of the match. Blue Angels made a substitution. Robin Söder replaced Oscar Lindström. 87 minutes into the game, Blue Angels's Markus Berg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Blue Angels made a substitution. Ted Björk replaced Johan Bangsbo. Blue Angels's Marcus Berg was substituted for Markus Berg. After a rather tough play, Blue Angels's Sebastian Hausner got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Skark, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Blue Angels support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
