Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Fran Guerola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 played minutes S O B E R A N O CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ruddi Berendsen. 12 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Fran Guerola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fran Guerola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Fran Guerola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig suffered a sprained foot after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 21 minutes, Ruddi Berendsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S O B E R A N O CIMZ and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruddi Berendsen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Battal Gazi Bey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego. Battal Gazi Bey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fran Guerola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute of the match, Battal Gazi Bey got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Pliego was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Battal Gazi Bey slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Pliego. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. After 43 played minutes S O B E R A N O CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Amaral. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chile! Leif-Eric St. Juste placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 56 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Fran Guerola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fran Guerola made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. 63 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Gazi Bey came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Felix Garrido quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ruddi Berendsen, made in the 65th minute of the game. Fran Guerola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Jailson Barral was substituted for Battal Gazi Bey. In the 73rd minute, Eliézer de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Pontes in the 86th minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Xavier Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jailson Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, S O B E R A N O CIMZ could leave the field as winners, despite Chile having more of the ball for most of the match.
