After 2 played minutes Voskresensk FC got a freekick which was hit by Fedor Ivanchuk. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Gleb Sorokin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. When Fedor Ivanchuk came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Voskresensk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedor Ivanchuk couldn't finish the play. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedor Ivanchuk in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Fedor Ivanchuk made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 16th minute, Fedor Ivanchuk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Voskresensk FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Fedor Ivanchuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Gleb Sorokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gleb Sorokin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedor Ivanchuk in the 28th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Gleb Sorokin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gleb Sorokin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedor Ivanchuk in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedor Ivanchuk's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Jaime Pardo came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Igor Akinfeev could save by the left post. In the 36th minute, Gleb Sorokin made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedor Ivanchuk's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Paraguay's attentive Raul Venegas managed to snatch the ball when Fedor Ivanchuk made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Voskresensk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stepan Romm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fedor Ivanchuk to make the kick off. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedor Ivanchuk in the 51st minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Voskresensk FC's corner Gu Xuan Xiong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacobo Nores quite easily take care of the ball. In the 54th play minute Evgeniy Fomichev came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacobo Nores. 0-8. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Voskresensk FC's Fedor Ivanchuk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Fedor Ivanchuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Voskresensk FC's Timofey Solomakhin was substituted for Vladimir Safarov. After 69 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. Gleb Sorokin struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Voskresensk FC. Xavier Zoido charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Zoido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Gu Xuan Xiong in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Voskresensk FC's Gleb Sorokin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedor Ivanchuk in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Gleb Sorokin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Voskresensk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gleb Sorokin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gleb Sorokin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 89 minute of play.
