In the 37th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiao Bing Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Qiao Bing Zheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Queens of Lublin's goalkeeper Qiao Bing Zheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Dykes in the 60th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 65th minute of play forced Queens of Lublin's goalkeeper Qiao Bing Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Queens of Lublin's Arne Brauksiepe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arne Brauksiepe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Queens of Lublin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arne Brauksiepe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 86th minute, one of Queens of Lublin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Queens of Lublin. 95 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qiao Bing Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Chile booed when Queens of Lublin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ale Brama didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chile fans cheered their team off the field, for while Queens of Lublin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
