The Twelfth Raven
Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Twelve Ravens's Reinard Hennes. But to his dismay, Reinard Hennes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Reinard Hennes might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reinard Hennes ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinard Hennes in the 8th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Reinard Hennes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reinard Hennes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Reinard Hennes sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 17th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Twelve Ravens's Pierre Van Hinnendael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Twelve Ravens's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Roland Vanden Broucke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinard Hennes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Reinard Hennes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinard Hennes to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on Twelve Ravens's corner Leo Verstappen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Cotilla quite easily take care of the ball. In the 54th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Reinard Hennes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Vanden Broucke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland Vanden Broucke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roland Vanden Broucke made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Twelve Ravens booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Carita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Twelve Ravens's Bjorn Van de Weijer was substituted for Reinard Hennes. Jose Carita hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, Twelve Ravens's Bjorn Van de Weijer made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panama's Jose Carita got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Jose Carita off the ground. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 88th minute. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bjorn Van de Weijer's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The corner led Twelve Ravens's Lennart De Coster to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Cotilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Twelve Ravens walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
