In the 6th minute of the match, Pierre Van Hinnendael got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lautaro Navarro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Pierre Van Hinnendael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Valentín Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Valentín Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Twelve Ravens booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pietro Turrieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Twelve Ravens's Reinard Hennes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reinard Hennes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Dimitri Huijbregs hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Reinard Hennes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinard Hennes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Reinard Hennes came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinard Hennes in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Twelve Ravens's Reinard Hennes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Reinard Hennes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lennart De Coster who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Philip Blocks got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Reinard Hennes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Reinard Hennes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinard Hennes in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes Twelve Ravens got a freekick which was hit by Osvald Lindberg. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When Reinard Hennes came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Twelve Ravens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinard Hennes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Vanden Broucke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinard Hennes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinard Hennes in the 72nd minute of play. Reinard Hennes might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reinard Hennes ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinard Hennes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Reinard Hennes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Reinard Hennes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play, Twelve Ravens's Bjorn Van de Weijer made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Twelve Ravens's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
