The Twelfth Raven
Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes of play, Twelve Ravens's Reinard Hennes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reinard Hennes scored 3-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinard Hennes in the 18th minute of the match. Reinard Hennes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Reinard Hennes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reinard Hennes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Reinard Hennes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinard Hennes in the 24th minute of the match. Leo Verstappen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Pierre Van Hinnendael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Vanden Broucke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. When Twelve Ravens's Reinard Hennes in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Reinard Hennes took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinard Hennes was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Reinard Hennes came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Reinard Hennes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Reinard Hennes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinard Hennes in the 65th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinard Hennes in the 68th minute of play. Roland Vanden Broucke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinard Hennes might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reinard Hennes ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke got control of the ball when Aaron Alcocer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Reinard Hennes made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Twelve Ravens made a substitution. Bjorn Van de Weijer replaced Reinard Hennes. Bjorn Van de Weijer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 82nd minute Bjorn Van de Weijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Bjorn Van de Weijer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Pierre Van Hinnendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Bjorn Van de Weijer took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Twelve Ravens's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
