Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Önder Kornes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanos Saatsakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thanos Saatsakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sakaryaspor getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. 蔡辰锋 hit a great ball. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Çeliker Dölek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 37 minutes, Çeliker Dölek made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Önder Kornes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çeliker Dölek went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Çeliker Dölek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çeliker Dölek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çeliker Dölek during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanos Saatsakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Çeliker Dölek sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Sakaryaspor made a substitution. Dinçer Pekel replaced Çeliker Dölek. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinçer Pekel in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinçer Pekel in the 72nd minute of play. 蔡辰锋 hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Thanos Saatsakis made a huge save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinçer Pekel in the 84th minute of play. Dinçer Pekel took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. In the 92nd minute, Gabriel Vaagen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Sakaryaspor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
