In the 10th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Didžiasalis Utd's Ugnius Bitė ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 23 minutes, Vytenis Žvirblis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Didžiasalis Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vytenis Žvirblis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Iustinian Ceaușescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Robertas Pelėda came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Didžiasalis Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robertas Pelėda couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Didžiasalis Utd booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ugnius Bitė sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robertas Pelėda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Didžiasalis Utd the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robertas Pelėda made a kick off. Didžiasalis Utd's Iustinian Ceaușescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Didžiasalis Utd from getting a goal against them. After 57 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. It was a well-played corner which Salvador Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Didžiasalis Utd's Robertas Pelėda got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Iustinian Ceaușescu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertas Pelėda in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Didžiasalis Utd's Robertas Pelėda made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Didžiasalis Utd's Arūnas Kiaunė quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Robertas Pelėda put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Didžiasalis Utd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
