Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 11th minute, Finlay Stair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 minutes of play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Iuri de Andrade made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jamaall Padmore fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Jamaall Padmore a yellow card for diving instead. Karlus Waugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Bebeto Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iuri de Andrade got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Finlay Stair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Karlus Waugh came free, but Kiko Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Juarês Aguiar made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri de Andrade in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jarell Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarell Hill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Goiás Esporte Clube booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri de Andrade in the 66th minute of play. Jarell Hill charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarell Hill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Goiás Esporte Clube booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarell Hill didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Michel Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamaica the free kick. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Goiás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romon Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Romon Oliver hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Goiás Esporte Clube fully deserved thier win.
