Eliseo Mina might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Billy Jacquemet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mina ran back to his position shaking his head. Micael Caicedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 19th playminute. 23 minutes into the game, Angel Blue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Billy Jacquemet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Jacquemet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 39th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Billy Jacquemet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Peru booed when West Town SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micael Caicedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Costa's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Douglas Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Marlon Blue made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Angel Blue however managed to control. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Billy Jacquemet made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for West Town SC.
