Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 14th match minute, Chimpanserna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Godholm to maneuver through the defense. In the 21stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chimpanserna FC's Edmund Majman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Chimpanserna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Edmund Majman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 54th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gunnar Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gunnar Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 63 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Edmund Majman managed to make a qualified save. Chimpanserna FC's players were relieved. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Majman having to make a save. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Edmund Majman made a huge save. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmund Majman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 75th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 78th minute of the match. Salvador Gisbert's late challenge caught a Chimpanserna FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert.
