Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cirilo Arlo hit a great ball. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Ecuador's Agustín Saelices in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. Ramon Pueblo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ramon Pueblo scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Big Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Big Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Big Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Pueblo. The supporters of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Ramon Pueblo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Arlo to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo. But to his dismay, Ramon Pueblo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Pueblo in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakis Kaminaris to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Big Hands to make any attempt to save it. When Felix Montenegro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Big Hands was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Pueblo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cirilo Arlo in the 78th minute. Ramon Pueblo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB. Big Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
