Gordon Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artuir Ramsey in the 16th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play. Gordon Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 24th minute of play forced COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalkeeper Gordon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Brion Murphy sent off a good shot on target. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Horgan having to interfere. Olgun Oktay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Dante Lacasa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 32 minutes into the game, Olgun Oktay lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Dante Lacasa. Gordon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 34th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Gordon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gordon Horgan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 41st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gordon Horgan quite easily take care of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Olgun Oktay sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Gordon Horgan made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Cadaval in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gordon Horgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 55th minute. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gordon Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Macos Graciani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan did a great save. 72 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gordon Horgan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save COPERNICUS TORUŃ from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgun Oktay in the 78th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lorenzo Cazalla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lorenzo Cazalla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Artuir Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's supporters rose to their feet, but Artuir Ramsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save COPERNICUS TORUŃ from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Gordon Horgan made a huge save. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
