With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Beila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salvador Beila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Salvador Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Caburé Athletic's Salvador Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. Rene Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Salvador Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of the match. Marcus Bailey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Marcus Bailey sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute of the match Caburé Athletic got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agustin Urbez ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Agustin Urbez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th match minute, Caburé Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caburé Athletic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Salvador Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Fausto Kusko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salvador Beila came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.
The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Salvador Beila came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute of the match, Agustín Saelices got a very nice opportunity to score, but Salvador Beila was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Salvador Beila made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After 67 minutes Caburé Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Caburé Athletic's Salvador Beila got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Salvador Beila successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Prudencio Flor charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Flor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Caburé Athletic's Prudencio Flor got a free kick in the 78th minute. Salvador Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Beila having to interfere. Caburé Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Flor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Delmar Deunoro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Caburé Athletic's Delmar Deunoro got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Caburé Athletic fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
