An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 9th minute of play forced Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's goalkeeper 白延珂 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's protests and gave Nicodème Lamoureux a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Gracias a la Pelota - DAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodème Lamoureux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's Sylvester Grubbs was substituted for Stanislaw Psotka. Nicodème Lamoureux hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.
