Big Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 3rd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Big Hands prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Big Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Big Hands prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Big Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Big Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ramon Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. Big Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Big Hands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Big Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 19th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Big Hands prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Ramon Pueblo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramon Pueblo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Ramon Pueblo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Ramon Pueblo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Big Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Cirilo Arlo made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Pueblo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Pueblo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ramon Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 53rd minute of play. Ramon Pueblo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB. In the 59th minute Ramon Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Pueblo scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Pueblo in the 65th minute of play. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Big Hands had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Big Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 81st minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lakis Kaminaris's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Placido Gilabert's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Gilabert helped the player get up and apologised. Placido Gilabert hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
