Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Navalito's Nazario Urtubia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nazario Urtubia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Navalito protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nazario Urtubia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Navalito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Nicanor Parra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Soriano Espiñeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soriano Espiñeira came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Parra got free with Dante Lacasa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Eros Villamayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicanor Parra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Soriano Espiñeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. With a little luck, Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Gustavo Caicedo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Gustavo Caicedo in the 69th minute of play. Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play. Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Navalito from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira did a great save. When Carlos Gustavo Caicedo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Navalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Gustavo Caicedo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 84th minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Soriano Espiñeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The Mexico players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Navalito from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
