Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Aurelio Mergildo made a huge save. A collision led to Marchu FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Edgardo Sayvion hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Diegotxe came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Marchu FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
