Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Blue Angels got a freekick which was hit by Aleksandar Ivanov. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel-Enrique Comizzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Alf Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Alf Björk made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute of the match, Alf Björk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31st match minute, Blue Angels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Lindström to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alf Björk went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Angels's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel-Enrique Comizzo came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 47th minute of play forced Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes Blue Angels's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alf Björk was the one to do the kick off. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 60th minute of the match. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 62nd minute. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 75th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute Patrik Skark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksandar Ivanov kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Blue Angels's Aleksandar Ivanov got a free kick in the 88th minute. Blue Angels's Marcus Berg was substituted for Markus Berg.
