An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced BEIJO CARNAVAL's goalkeeper Godfredo Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Abarca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, BEIJO CARNAVAL's Aristides Lehior tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by BEIJO CARNAVAL's Richard Peso. But to his dismay, Richard Peso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Peso's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BEIJO CARNAVAL:s goal. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Aristides Lehior:s penalty. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Aristides Lehior kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godfredo Abarca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Godfredo Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. Adam Jönsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, BEIJO CARNAVAL's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Godfredo Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Peso hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Su Yi Hao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Peso, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Godfredo Abarca made a huge save. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Godfredo Abarca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save BEIJO CARNAVAL from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Peso in the 69th minute of the match. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Cristian Sancho a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Godfredo Abarca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save BEIJO CARNAVAL from getting a goal against them. The BEIJO CARNAVAL support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
