Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmundo Espiga scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Larra Briz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes C.S.D Punta Ballena got a freekick which was hit by Josu Garoña. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 11 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 12th minute. Elivareo Monta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Larra Briz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elivareo Monta struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S.D Punta Ballena. The supporters of Honduras booed when C.S.D Punta Ballena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivareo Monta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Espinar in the 22nd minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Larra Briz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Valentín Carvallo in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.S.D Punta Ballena's Baudelio Valls. Anton Guilizasti might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Guilizasti ran back to his position shaking his head. Larra Briz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in C.S.D Punta Ballena's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Larra Briz came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Larra Briz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Larra Briz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. In the 40th minute, Miguel Vizcaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.S.D Punta Ballena's Larra Briz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Larra Briz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Larra Briz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Larra Briz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Larra Briz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.S.D Punta Ballena's Larra Briz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Larra Briz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the C.S.D Punta Ballena defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Larra Briz. The C.S.D Punta Ballena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Larra Briz should have stopped the shot. Milagros Cabal made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.S.D Punta Ballena's Cesario Olivos. Baudelio Valls hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Larra Briz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 82nd minute of play. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Larra Briz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onofre Masas's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onofre Masas helped the player get up and apologised. Onofre Masas kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Larra Briz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Ocampo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Larra Briz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras.
