Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Amanda Björn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soriano Espiñeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. Williams Rebolledo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Williams Rebolledo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Navalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Williams Rebolledo to maneuver through the defense. Soriano Espiñeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Navalito's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soriano Espiñeira came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Parra came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Young in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Isidoro Young ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Young in the 29th minute of play. Soriano Espiñeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Soriano Espiñeira was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Young's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Nazario Urtubia hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Soriano Espiñeira. That made the score 2-1 in the 55 minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Williams Rebolledo was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Navalito's Williams Rebolledo got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 72nd minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Soriano Espiñeira, passed just outside the right post. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Soriano Espiñeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Soriano Espiñeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Navalito's goalkeeper Soriano Espiñeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. In the 84th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Navalito players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
