Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fausto Kusko got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Caburé Athletic's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Beila came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Prudencio Flor sent off a good shot on target. In the 11thth minute of the game Isidoro Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caburé Athletic's Salvador Beila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Caburé Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Orain to maneuver through the defense. Caburé Athletic's Salvador Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Beila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Beila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 28th minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Flor in the 45th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Kusko in the 52nd minute of play. If Prudencio Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Kusko in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the game Fausto Kusko made a throw-in which Agustin Urbez played forward. Salvador Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 67th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Salvador Beila could save by the left post. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Caburé Athletic's Salvador Beila managed to reach the ball for a save. Salvador Beila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Caburé Athletic's Prudencio Flor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 82nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Caburé Athletic getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Prudencio Flor hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Fausto Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caburé Athletic fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
