Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lico Tarin got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Gibert was slow to take the kick. During this time ATLETAS FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 10thth minute of the game Lico Tarin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waclaw Gniech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ATLETAS FC's Ronny Engström. Ronny Engström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronny Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes ATLETAS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 30 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 34 in the game by Lico Tarin from a close distance when the talented Rolando Noboa managed to make a qualified save. Peru's players were relieved. Haroldo Gibert charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Gibert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ATLETAS FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Haroldo Gibert hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Ronny Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ATLETAS FC's Erubiel Madaleno got a free kick in the 46th minute. The ATLETAS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronny Engström having to make a save. Ronny Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of play. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ronny Engström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lico Tarin in the 60th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ATLETAS FC's Ronny Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save ATLETAS FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to ATLETAS FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Erubiel Madaleno hit a great ball. ATLETAS FC's Justo Valdivia was substituted for Cordareo Macías. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball. Haroldo Gibert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ronny Engström firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ATLETAS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Haroldo Gibert in the 75th minute. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by ATLETAS FC's Lico Tarin. But to his dismay, Lico Tarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. ATLETAS FC's Eutropio Turienzo was substituted for Lico Tarin. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronny Engström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Eutropio Turienzo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATLETAS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 92 minutes into the match, ATLETAS FC's goalkeeper Ronny Engström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eutropio Turienzo in the 95th minute of the match. ATLETAS FC were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Haroldo Gibert took the corner. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ATLETAS FC.
