Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Paul to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Huế defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lê Binh. The Huế fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lê Binh should have stopped the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lê Binh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Thanh notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Huế's zone, Luca Espinar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lê Binh came out of the goal and Luca Espinar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 played minutes Huế got a freekick which was hit by Triệu Anh Hung. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lê Binh was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lê Binh came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Villa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 92nd minute. Honduras played a much better game than Huế and deserved their victory. The Huế players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
