Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zabal Ubeda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 4th minute Plaza Jewell were awarded a corner. Fabio Cresconio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Plaza Jewell's Cayetano Playo to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Pablo Mei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Fabio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Plaza Jewell getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Zabal Ubeda hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Mei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lorenzo Mancio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plaza Jewell's Pablo Mei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. Pablo Mei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Lorenzo Mancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Freddy Amato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plaza Jewell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Mei having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Amato to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Amato in the 51st minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Plaza Jewell's Freddy Amato. But to his dismay, Freddy Amato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Amato in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Freddy Amato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Zabal Ubeda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plaza Jewell's supporters rose to their feet, but Zabal Ubeda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salvador Roland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Plaza Jewell made a substitution. Aristides Iratxo replaced Fabio Cresconio. 77 minutes into the game, one of Plaza Jewell:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pablo Mei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Iratxo in the 87th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Salvador Roland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plaza Jewell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Salvador Roland hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Plaza Jewell could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
