The supporters of Segelbut IF U21 booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Segelbut IF U21's Cornel Luncaniță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Segelbut IF U21 from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute Marcelo Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Alf Ekelund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alf Ekelund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuang Jian Yi came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute Alf Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Alf Ekelund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF U21's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Alefors in the 42nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Cunha hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Manoel Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orlando Casaus scored 1-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornel Luncaniță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Segelbut IF U21's Alfons Öberg was substituted for Alf Ekelund. In the 63rd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Luncaniță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornel Luncaniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Öberg in the 78th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa scored 2-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornel Luncaniță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Segelbut IF U21's Zhuang Jian Yi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Manoel Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Segelbut IF U21 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
