Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikolaj Lech in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Batistuta in the 9th minute of the match. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Michel Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When Boleslaw Nakoneczny came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the STAL ST WOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boleslaw Nakoneczny couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 30th minute. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Michel Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Gaos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Gaos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 43 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave STAL ST WOLA a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Artaç Hendekli, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th play minute Boleslaw Nakoneczny came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 0-5. Michel Batistuta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner led STAL ST WOLA's Arkadiusz Solecki to a score. 0-6 in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Michel Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa came free in the 72nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Roman Matai, but to the joy of STAL ST WOLA's supporters the ball went over. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Lech in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Batistuta. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a STAL ST WOLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zygmunt Bielejewski. Gu Xiao Kun charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gu Xiao Kun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A sloppy throw-in by Gustaw Bendyk in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 86th minute of play. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after STAL ST WOLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roman Matai quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by STAL ST WOLA's Zygmunt Bielejewski. But to his dismay, Zygmunt Bielejewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After having played for 92 minutes, Mikolaj Lech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STAL ST WOLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikolaj Lech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, STAL ST WOLA's Michel Batistuta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8.
