The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Tadeo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Distiratsu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th minute Wilfredo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Gitano in the 6th minute of the match. Wilfredo Gitano struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarana FC. Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Jarana FC from getting a goal against them. Wilfredo Gitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Wilfredo Gitano took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 21 played minutes Jarana FC got a freekick which was hit by Joop Deswarte. 22 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Gitano came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Distiratsu having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Distiratsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeo Distiratsu came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Lacasa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tadeo Distiratsu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 41 minutes, Valko De Hond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valko De Hond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Tadeo Distiratsu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Jarana FC from getting a goal against them.

Tadeo Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 52nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Jose Manzanedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Gitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Joop Deswarte hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match Mariano Lacasa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tadeo Distiratsu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valko De Hond, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Wilfredo Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alan Tamayo hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
