Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Creangă in the 33rd minute of play. Ion Văcărescu made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Ion Văcărescu got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Iustinian Stanciu. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Codrin Barbăneagră read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Creangă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentin Enciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, AC Milan Tigers's Iustinian Stanciu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Codrin Barbăneagră showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes AC Milan Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Ion Văcărescu. In the 70th minute, one of AC Milan Tigers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Milan Tigers. When Sandu Calboreanu fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Milan Tigers's protests and gave Sandu Calboreanu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AC Milan Tigers getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sandu Calboreanu hit a great ball. Cristian Creangă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Ion Văcărescu with Bogdan Sârban as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Iustinian Stanciu sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Sârban in the 86th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Cristian Creangă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Creangă in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
