Alf Björk scored 1-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of play forced Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Skark's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thiago Pliego firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Blue Angels getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Johan Bangsbo hit a great ball. Alan Tamayo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Björk in the 47th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Björk came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blue Angels:s Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed great skill when he stopped Mariano Lacasa:s penalty. In the 96th minute Alf Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
