The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jorge Sainz hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, Marciano Obeko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peluchita Fc and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marciano Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Eulalio Abaunza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Abaunza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Bogdan Kornatowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Escribano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 76 minute of play. In the 80th minute, Bruno Beldad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Kornatowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uruguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Peluchita Fc had won, even though Uruguay had held more of the ball.
