Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Augusto Valda took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Valda in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Augusto Valda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Austral FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Felipe Benito hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Valda in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Augusto Valda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerold Grijalba in the 29th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Benavente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Austral FC were awarded a corner. Augusto Valda went to the cornerflag to take it. Bruno Beldad tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Joaquin Gayoso. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Valda came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Bruno Beldad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Austral FC the free kick. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerold Grijalba in the 42nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Valda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Grijalba in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerold Grijalba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Jerold Grijalba sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Valda in the 52nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Austral FC got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Valda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Damaso Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Escribano in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Hurko saved Austral FC from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Austral FC's Joaquin Gayoso threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Augusto Valda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Austral FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Austral FC's Augusto Valda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th match minute, Austral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Pinillos to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Jerold Grijalba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-6. If Ramiro Benavente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Carballal charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Carballal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Kevin Carballal got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Austral FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
